With more than 1.5 million followers across social media, Ali Dawah is a highly influential figure today. Yet despite his enormous reach, his statements often demonstrate an alarming level of ignorance regarding fundamental matters of Islam, and many of his statements are kufr.
This raises an important question: If someone with such a large following speaks with this level of ignorance, what does that mean for the people who take his words as guidance?
We will not discuss every one of his statements that is kufr, as doing so would go far beyond the scope of this article. Instead, here we will focus on one of his statements regarding voting and democracy.

This Abu’l Jahil guy, because the guy is naive, he doesn’t know nothing about the religion. Anyone that declares someone a disbeliever because he voted, you are a jahil. Ulama, big ulama, have come and said that voting in a specific situation, if I know there is two party, yeah. One of them is gonna kill muslims, one is not, fam you have to vote. It’s a form of Ibadah to vote.
