The Palestinian national flag (like any other national flag too) is an idol worshipped by polytheists instead of Allah. The idol symbolizes the modern god of the people, namely the Sykes–Picot homeland, governed by an unbelieving system and subject to the law of the United Nations.
Those calling for an independent Palestinian civil state are polytheists, turning away from the deen of Allah toward the secular civil religion.
And sorcerers like al-ʿArīfī, walk among the bearers of these idols while deceiving them by telling them that they are martyrs.
Yet the martyr, according to the statement of RasulAllah ﷺ, is:
“The one who fights so that the word of Allah is supreme.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, no. 123)
Whereas these people are fighting so that the word of the people is supreme – the word of their representatives in parliament is supreme – and so that their Palestinian idol may be elevated among the idols of the polytheists in the polytheistic United Nations.
